Riptide Music Lessons

Financial aid

Lessons shouldn't depend on what gas costs this month. Here's every way we can make it work — use as many as you need. If none of them fit, ask anyway.

Spread out the deposit

The two-lesson deposit can be paid over your first three months instead of all at once. Just pick it when you enroll — no fee, no questions.

Shorter lessons

30 min $150.00 · 45 min $215.00 · 60 min $250.00 a month. Thirty focused minutes a week goes a long way, and you can move up any time.

Brothers and sisters

10% off tuition for each additional student in the family.

Refer a friend

When a family you send signs up, you each get a free lesson. Your code is on your family page.

Volunteer

Help out at a recital — setup, check-in, cleanup — and earn two lessons' credit. Tick the box below to raise your hand.

Pause instead of quitting

Busy season? Pause for a month once a year — no tuition while you're away, and your weekly time is kept for you. Need longer? Hold your spot for a small monthly fee.

Tide Pool scholarship & pay what you can

Tell us what you can comfortably pay each month and the Tide Pool — Riptide's own scholarship fund — covers the difference. Awards last a year — apply again to keep it going — and while you're on one, your deposit is two lessons at what you pay, not full price. Only the studio sees this, and we'll be in touch.

Can you afford a little more?

Families who can add $5, $10 or $25 a month to their bill, and every dollar goes to another student's lessons. Pick it when you enroll, or on your family page any time. Riptide is a for-profit studio, so this isn't a donation and isn't tax-deductible — it's neighbors helping neighbors play music.
